The battle of Blood Moon
To fully comprehend the Battle of Blood Moon one must first understand the context in which it was born. Not long after the cessation of the Great War in which the gods themselves fought over the surface of Kantaras, the great dragons of the north began settling in the Kudron valley, enslaving the human tribes who lived there. For over two hundred years these humans and their descendants suffered under the harsh rule of the dragon masters. During this time the humans frequently attempted to overthrow the dragons and cast off the harsh yokes of their oppression. However each of these attempts failed, often miserably because the long history of intertribal conflicts and the stubborn nature of the humans themselves prevented them from achieving the cooperation necessary to pose any real threat to the dragons. This was true until one young slave, a man by the name of Thomas Galalone, brought about the creation of a united underground movement. Through extreme patience and careful planning, Thomas and the underground were able to arrange an opportunity with which they might strike a great blow against the dragons. It was a desperate gamble but if they succeeded they would be taking a significant step to attaining the freedom they so desired.
On a cold moonlight night carefully placed members of the underground stole through the Dragon Lord’s palace. Then at around the eleventh hour they struck in unison, the attack was swift and brutal.
